Black Lives Matter UK album in support of US and UK Black Lives Matter Campaign.

With what has become more than a movement, Defenders Ent (One of the most respected independent UK record labels behind brands such as Crazy Cousinz, This is UK Grime, This is UK Rap and This is UK Funky House) has joined forces with the official BLMUK faction and popular Empowerment Platform Got Kush TV, to bring supporters and music lovers the first of a series of albums. The first features vocal talents such as (Clip C, Raspect, Aisha Akanbi, Yung Saber & Natty Khu)

Not just to raise awareness but to also raise funds, the album sales will be donated to the well deserved cause. With Rappers, Singers, Poets and spoken work artist’s from across the UK, the album series has the first 3 volumes ready to be released in support of an annual peace concert.

During the recent success of Drake ft Wizkid & Kyla “One Dance” which was a remake of the 2008 Defenders Ent release “Do You Mind” – Kyla and Crazy Cousinz, the conscious and urban music community are happy to see Corey Johnson and his team still right at the heart of the community and emerging acts.

The BLMUK album features some of the most active musical activists and popular acts, with new acts, established stars and one off guest appearances. It is amazing to see the collective support from the industry for this album and project.
